It’s been a while since I’ve posted new photo material. The last photo assignment I did before the year 2011 was over, was a job for HK Reklame in Trondheim. They had orders for three images to an advertising campaign for
Dronning Mauds Minne Høgskole targeted to recruit new students at their program. The design brief was to shoot three illustrations cut out in colored fabric that illustrated three different children licking their tongue on various cold iron surfaces. The slogan translated into English went something like this “Children need good role models. Become a preschool teacher.” In addition to shooting into textile pieces for use in an animated commercial that would go to the movies. Here is the result hanging around the bus shelter in the middle of town. Also there was made a course catalog with some behind scenes shots making the illustrations. Catalog. AD on the project was Frank Trana, script was done by Hanne Thoresen.

The animation was made by Sondre Nymoen.

If you in a worst case scenario lick your tongue on a cold iron surface, do as the main character, Matti, in the book “Populärmusik från Vittula” by Mikael Niemi. Try peeing on the cold metal surface.
