Here are some photos of Katarina Fossum from a model test I did with her recently. With her cool tattoos and funky hair her style is rock-chic-ish. These shots are from the first out of three outfits we tested with.

I thought the last post was the last for a while, but then I got a little time before my flight to Denmark too off and then I could post some more pictures from the photo shoot I had with the Charite Viken (DP Models). Here we are in a fairly narrow elevator. Nikon 24mm f/2.8, SB-900 and Orbis Ring Flash is the extra equipment I used in addition to my trusty Nikon D700. Make-up and hair was done by Ann Karin Williams Aastø from OurStyle.

Well, now I’m leaving on a jet plane, leaving the snow, rain, ice and cold. 2 degrees Celsius and sun is a fairly good upgrade.

Second part from the series I did for Charite Viken, artist represented by DP-Models. As the first part, this is shot with natural illumination in a dim staircase in a parking garage in Trondheim. The reason for all the noise in this picture is that I had cranked up the ISO-speed to 2500 to get a decent exposure at f/2.8 with my 24mm lens. Even tough it’s not done perfect technical wise, I felt that the rawness in both the style and posture of Charite expressed and the noise all over the image says something about what I am trying to express. First I wanted the photo to be in black and white, but the dirty green light the fluorescent bulb was casting set the mood perfectly. Make-up and hair was done by Ann Karin Williams Aastø from OurStyle. Thank you for helping out and doing such a great job at this photo shoot.

The recent days I have been assisting Lars Erik Berg from Centerteam doing a commercial job for Mascot Høie A/S. Høie is a manufacturer based in Fosen making bedsheets and pillows. It was fun and experiencing two days at the studios of Centerteam.

Sunday I am leaving for Denmark again hoping to get to do some model testing for Modelbureauet Modelbooking again and I will be back in Norway around Christmas. Which in short means that my blog will not be updated that frequently as the past few weeks. Hope you will take a look in my picture gallery and enjoy all the photos I have published the past recent years. Yesterday I did a model test with Charite Viken an artist known from her early years as a child star from Melody Grand Prix Junior. In recent years she has become more adult in the style of music and is now working at Agape in addition to working as a songwriter. She is also represented by the newly established model agency DP-Models ran by photographer Ronny Manuel Danielsen. Hair and make-up on this photo shoot was done by Ann Karin Williams Aastø from www.OurStyle.org.

Tredje del i fashion-serien min fra opptaket mitt Bakgårdsfashion med Kristin Folstad fotografert tidligere i høst. Serien er fotografert på Lademoen i en campingvogn som står å råtner på en privat eiendom med piggtrådgjerde og ei fin fin hytte.

Andre del av fashion / portrett-opptaket med Sigrid Helene Rauboti tatt i forbindelse med fashion-kvantum-foto-prosjektet mitt. Her har jeg prøvd meg på atter en ny lyssetting, om det fungerte er jeg ikke helt sikker på.

Sist helg ble relativt travel med både opptak lørdag, med Maren Elise Aasen fra Trend Models og søndag med Sigrid Helene Rauboti, som jeg tidligere har brukt på en skoleoppgave i kurset Farge og Estetikk.
Denne gangen ble det litt tøffere uttrykk på Sigrid med skinnbukse og en helt annen lyssetting, som var en av grunnene til opptaket. Som en del av mappebyggingen min ville jeg teste ut noen nye lyssettinger og bygge ut det jeg allerede bruker som standard. Her har jeg brukt en octabank, en oktalformet softboks, satt i ca 45grader fra siden og 45 grader opp for å få inn retning i lyset (Rembrandt-lyssetting) og flagget ut lyset på kantene for å skape enda mer retning på det.

Fashion

Dette er andre del av bakgårds-fashion-opptaket jeg hadde med Kristin Folstad fra Trend Models. Serien er skutt med tanke på å fremstille situasjonen som en slags sommerfestival på tross av at det var godt utpå høsten serien ble tatt. Det er også en annen del av denne fashion-serien som er tatt med naturlig, tilstedeværende lys som gjør at bildene får et mer romantisk preg. Som modell er Kristin kjempegrei å jobbe med. Hun tar instruksjonene og spiller rollene jeg setter henne i veldig godt, og at på til tar hun seg ikke så alt for selvhøytidelig. Denne fashion-serien er ikke så veldig seriøs og vi hopper lett fra å være “spyklein” og på rav-fylla til å kødde med det som finnes på location og ha det veldig artig på opptaket. I etterbehandlinga har jeg lagt på noen filter for å få serien til å fremstå som om den er tatt lomo.

Denne helga

Ellers denne helga har jeg hatt to opptak, ett med Maren Elise Aasen med hovedtyngde på fashion og mote, hvor Susanne Amalie Nilsen fra H2 var makeup-artist. Og et portrett/fashion-opptak med Sigrid Helene Rauboti i rocke-sjangeren hvor jeg testet ut ett par nye lyssettinger.

Fremover

Denne uka er fylt med en god del foto også, frem mot lørdag er det moodboarding til opptak med grunge-bandet Tripod, et litt større musikkalbum-prosjekt. 4 eller 5 modeller booket inn av elever ved H2-Akademiet skal sminkes og friseres før de skal fotograferes av meg. Fredag kveld etter H2-opptaket er det konsert med Tripod på Blæst på Solsiden og lørdag kveld er det duket for hårshow på Crash i regi av H2-Akademiet hvor jeg skal skyte både bak kulissene og etter-bilder av arbeidet utført av frisører ved H2.
