Today I have photographed the premiere of Jag etter Vinden at Nova Kino, a Norwegian drama film shot at Stokkøya. Among the guests was at the event was the Swedish actor Sven-Bertil Taube, known for rolls in big titles like “Män som hatar kvinnor”, “Arn” and “The Eagle has Landed”. Also at the event was the main character of the movie Tobias Santelmann, known from the Oscar nominated film Kon-Tiki.

Lately I’ve been working with a rather huge project, something that I am not that familiar with, producing a music video for the band Tempo and releasing their new single last friday, Deilig.
We had three days of filming, starting at the end of November using the local concert scene Blæst as location. The band had invited a hand full of extras who were to play in the “main scene” of the video which was a party scene where the band played among the audience. Ove Aunan helped out rigging light, Marthe Røkke Lund helped out as assistant producer / photographer and Hilde Sveli did hair and make-up for these scenes. The second day of filming we used the guitarists apartment shooting mood-shots of the main character Tonje Pettersen and the cover poster. Last and third day of filming was spent at Ladehammeren where we shot running scenes.
Working together with May Lill Morseth Løhre editing the music video we finally did the finishing touches the night before release.
Equipment I used shooting this video a Nikon D800, 35mm and 24mm and a 70-200mm, mountend on a rig from Gini Rigs (Extreme 17), which is an aluminum, light weight off-set rig for the “static shots” and close ups. I also used a a Glidecam HD4000 for the dynamic shots, running scenes and panning around the audience. Since this was the first time using this type of equipment on a professional job, I had to teach my self in a couple of weeks how to operate the different rigs and balancing the Gldiecam correctly. It has been a steep learning curve, but I am quite satisfied with the result.

Last Friday Tempo had invited a lot of friends to Orklapøbben for their release concert and the premiere of the music video (above), around 100 people showed up to the event. I helped the guys out shooting a little documentary following them through the evening until early morning.
At 12 minutes past 12, the 12th of December, 2012 the world premiere on the Hobbit was showing on Nova Kino in Trondheim. A lot of fans had dressed up in amazing costumes and I was there documenting for Trondheim Kino.
Tonight I was at Nova Kino photographing documentary and press-wall for the premiere event for the last movie in the Twilight Saga, The Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn Part 2. The cinema was packed with girls in every age and some unfortunate boys and dads going with their girlfriends or daughters.
Tonight was “Twilight, Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ premiered in Norwegian cinemas. I had been hired by the Trondheim Kino to document the small photographic event that took place at the Nova Cinema Centre, together with Sascha Njaa. Compared to the last “Harry Potter premiere,” we had changed some of the roles, this time he should be fixed on a portrait-mail, while I would go around and document the cinema guests. Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) was conspicuous by its absence, perhaps it was too little fog in Trondheim tonight. Some that were in place were the staff from Agape to promote the ball and wedding dresses, and one lucky winner could win gift certificates from 2500 Norwegian kroner a ball gown from Agape. For those especially interested had Trondheim Kino yesterday set up a several-hour movie marathon where they showed all the previous films from the series. The views were about 300 visitors. night it is said that there were about 800 tickets sold at both Nova and Prince. I have not any plans to see either the earlier films or this, but they hope that was the premiere had a good experience.
Photos from the Harry Potter-première (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) at Nova Kinosenter in Trondheim, July 2011. These photos are just a few out of around 70 I shot of cinema guests having dressed up for the première. The event was arranged by Trondheim Kino with flame blowers, witches brew, a choir singing the Harry Potter-theme and the photo stand where my friend Sascha Njaa and I ran. The best costume were awarded some film effects, a magic wand, a book and a poster, some t-shirts and such. Hope the guests and Harry Potter-fans at the show had a great time watching the première and enjoying the event.
Here is a trailer of the movie
