I shot some photos of Norway’s Miss Earth candidate, Marion Dyrvik Homlong, who was also a candidate in the Miss Norway contest 2010, a couple of weekends back. After shooting the “official photos”, portraits and full figure in dress and beauty makeup. We gear down a bit and did something I have more feeling for. Simple images without any complex and advanced lighting techniques. Location is the same spot I photographed Kristin Folstad a week earlier. This time we had had clear, sunny sky to work with, but since we shot in open shade complicated not this photo shoot anything. Make-up and hair was done by Karoline Holand Fosby.

Part two from my “fetch a ride”-fashion series with Kristin Folstad from Trend Models.
Here are two pictures from the photo shoot my Kristin Folstad, Trend Models, earlier this month. The images are shot in natural light with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and 24-105 f/4L, not quite the ultimate camera to use outdoors, in my opinion.
This weekend there will be a little calmer on the photo front with only two photo shoots, model testing and possibly baby photography. Days and weeks go by or to portraiture and group photography of children, adolescents and adults aged six months to retirement.
Last weekend I was on a little relaxation trip to Oslo and played a role as a tourist. I was a little trip to the opera roof, Akershus Fortress, Aker Brygge, trawled up and down Karl Johan and the overall two hours Jernbanetorget. Apart from the barrier around the government quarter, there were no major changes since I lived there in 2002/03 as a conscript in His Majesty the King’s Guard.
A few weeks ago I had a photo shoot with Maren Elise Aasen from Trend Models in a backyard in my neighbourhood. I photographed mainly for exercise’s sake, but also because Maren Elise needed new images to the folder’s. Maren Elise has been with Trend Models since 2009 and we’ve had a lot of photo shoots with the two years I have been at Norsk Fotofagskole. The first time I photographed her was during a course organized by Fotopia.no. If you’re interested you can find the photos from that photo shoot HERE: Fotoshoot Med Maren Elise Aasen.
Photographing for
Today I started on my new three-month job as a school photographer for the Iris Skolefoto A/S. This is not an unknown territory when I was a few years ago before I started studying atNorsk Fotofagskole, I photographed for one of the nation’s largest school photography agencies, Fovea A/S.
Today got to be familiar with the equipment and software we will use at work, the company and got to know who we will be working with these three months. Tomorrow we’ll have a bit more photo-drilling before we go out on a school on Monday to make it practical even more practical.
With Maren Elise Aasen
Today I had a photo shoot with Maren Elise Aasen (Trend Models in my neighbourhood, Lademoen and Lademoparken. Here are one behind the scenes-shot that I did while Maren was getting her make-up and hair done, and the other picture is a portrait from the last location today. I shot every frame with only the sun and a reflector as light source.
