This spring I shot an editorial for the Greenlandic designer Aviaaja Hammeken Schultz, currently living in Denmark. The location was Musikkhuset i Århus and helping me out doing hair and make-up was Lidia Bonaria Bassareo. The model was Ivalu Sørensen (Diva Models that I also had a second shoot with the day after (photos of Ivalu Sørensen). This shoot was to show off a jacket which was inspired by Chineese and Inuitt design and was suppose to show of different areas of use; the high class business woman, the more traditional Asian style and the inuitt style. This first post shows the first area of use.

Here are four pictures from the dirty house wife photo shoot I did with Ivalu Sørensen from Diva Models. We had some extra time after a photo shoot down at Moesgård Strand and decided to do something fairly unromantic. I might be wrong but, I believe her kitchen doesn’t look this way everyday. Styling this shoot was Anne Margrethe Rimmer Larsen. I don’t encourage anyone to smoke cigarettes, but the photos needed this final touch to give them the right feeling.

Some most of you guys who are a frequent reader might have experienced some problems with entering my Flickr-gallery at www.flickr.com. The reason was that I had published some nude content and hadn’t set the right content filters. You might experience such glitches still, but it will be fixed by the end of this week.

Have a nice weekend! I hope to see some of you down at Fotofagskolen this evening at the graduating students graduation exhibition RAW. Free entrance!

After the outdoor shoot I had with Ivalu Sørensen () and the Icelandic horse, we went back to her apartment and did a quite different shoot. Not the romantic type. It is a bit experimental and I am not quite sure if I like it or not. Helping me out with styling was Anne Margrethe Rimmer Larsen.

A few days ago I posted a preview from a fashion-series I did with Ivalu Sørensen from Diva Models at Moesgård Strand, Denmark. Helping me out with styling on this shoot was Anne Margrethe Rimmer Larsen. Here are two more photos from this windy photo shoot.

All three pictures are shot in natural light on an overcast day with Nikon Prime Lenses, 35mm f/2.0D and 50mm f/1.4D. I believe my 50mm isn`t working correctly because it gives quite soft edges and nothing is really sharp. Might be that I will invest in a newer 50mm f/1.4G lens in near future.

Who is Titania

Titania is a character in William Shakespeare’s play A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In the play, she is the queen of the fairies. Due to Shakespeare’s influence, later fiction has often used the name “Titania” for fairy queen characters.
In traditional folklore, the fairy queen has no name. Shakespeare took the name “Titania” from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, where it is an appellation given to the daughters of Titans.
Shakespeare’s Titania is a very proud creature and as much of a force to contend with as her husband Oberon. The marital quarrel she and Oberon are engaged in over which of them should have the keeping of an Indian changeling boy is the engine that drives the mix ups and confusion of the other characters in the play. Due to an enchantment cast by Oberon’s servant Puck, Titania magically falls in love with a rude mechanical (a lower class labourer), Nick Bottom the Weaver, who has been given the head of an ass by Puck, who feels it is better suited to his character (which bears a resemblance to the story of Lycaon).

Ivalu Sørensen

Here is one of many fashion inspired shots I did when I was in Denmark a few weeks ago doing model testing with Ivalu Sørensen. This particular shot was photographed at Moesgård Strand where I’ve done another fashion shoot a year earlier with Stinne Tornøe Frederiksen from Model Booking.
This time I had Anne Margrethe Rimmer Larsen helping me out with styling, hair and make up. We also got to borrow a horse from some locals down at the beach. This is a sneak preview of what is to come from this midsummer night’s dream series.
