Sunday I shot two fashion-shoots with Rachel Nordtømme and Trine Eide. Makeup artist were Line Sofie Steinfinsbø and the theme were tough. T-shirts are from H&M.

Sick leave for a week

It’s less than two weeks until I am leaving for Marrakesh, school trip with Norsk Fotofagskole. Last week I took the dukoral, the cholera vaccine, and reacted quite badly. I got almost a week sick leave for having hyperthermia, a running nose, soar throat and head ache. I thought I was well Sunday morning so I went on photographing the shoot with Rachel and Trine, when I got home I got worse again. I will be up and fighting on Thursday, hopefully :)

Dating i Mørket ep. 2 - Bjørn Christiansen

I just came back home from Ikea, checked my snail mail and found a long with the electric bill a envelope with a DVD inside. The sender was NRK Hordaland and the envelope contained a DVD with a copy of episode 2 of Dating in the dark (Dating i Mørket) at NRK3. I’ve been sitting at my desk after photographing the cover waiting for some divine sign that tells me to push play on my DVD-player. This could be strange, real embarrassing or just fun. If you don’t hear from me in ten months you know for sure I have committed a social suicide.

I just got back in after a night on town with Sascha Njaa and Jon Danielsen. I meet the guys at Café Choco Boco in Nordre Gate as a part of my short, social life these three weeks during the photo marathon. Sascha was supposed to shoot his assignment “urban” that he got today at school. We sat down for about two hours talking about photo and such before we went out to shoot the photos. I don’t know how the outcome is but I have some “behind the scenes shots” from the shoot. Walking down Nordre Gate from Trondheim Torg we bumped into Kristin Folstad and Marie Folstad, had a shot photo shoot and went on to Solsiden to get Saschas last few shots before going home.

Now I should go to bed and get some sleep. A few hours until evaluation of my “Plate with fruit”-shot.

I’m still getting reminders that I had a pretty stupid, but innocent quote on “Dating i mørket” yesterday

Den siste tiden har det gått mye i fashionfotografering som til tider har tært på nattesøvnen og energien. Det er da det er godt å være ca 90% ferdig med etterbehandlinga av materialet som ble fotografert og man kan sitte litt med beina på bordet, eller ta seg en tur på kafé med klassekamerater eller hjelpe andre med oppgavene deres.

Etter forelesningen i går ble det en kjapp tur innom Japan Foto og for å se på ny kamerasekk til Bjørn Tore Økland sammen med Sascha Njaa før turen gikk til Nattergalen for litt sen lunsj / middag og en kopp kaffe.

I dag har tiden for det meste gått med til etterbehandling av bilder og YouTube og spesielt brukeren PrankvsPrank. Et kjærestepar som har lagt ut en del videoer av practial jokes de kjører på hverandre. Noen mer morsomme enn andre. En av de mer ondskapsfulle er en video de har fra jula 2009.

Jeg har også vært med Cecilie Engebretsen på opptak på Dronning Mauds Minne Høgskole for å fotografere noen arkitekturbilder til en oppgave hun har i forbindelse med fotomaraton-ukene på Norsk Fotofagskole. Hun skulle ha noen bilder med litt psykatrisk sykehus-følelse og stemning.

Straks er det kickboxing-trening og så enda litt mer etterbehandling av fashion-serien min før jeg tar kvelden.
